So Peat and I are gonna wuss out. There's this story-circle play haunted-house type of thing that we were going to go to; admittedly, mainly for the free bales of hay you can take home at the end of the production. But it's colder than a witch's titty in a brass bra in january out there... and believe me, I would know.
We spent the afternoon carving pumpkins and watching the Scream movies, which Peat had never seen. I just set them up outside and lit them - it'll be dark soon! I'm pretty proud of our punkins! Here are some pics...
This is all four of the pumpkins we carved during our test run in the living room with the drapes pulled.
This was supposed to be a chinese dragon, but I was a little more ambitious than I should have been.
This was supposed to be one of those weird full moon faces you see in old calendars. Not quite what I was going for, but I like the effect nonetheless.
This is all of them post-set-up. I'm going to run out now and get another shot of "Drunkin", because I'm particularly proud of it.
Drunkin's lights keep going out. Which works fine, actually. Now we wait for trick-or-treaters ...and eat them!
Still learning this blog thing. What the heck is a "kudo", and why would I want to disable one? Anyway...
